This workshop is aimed at those who are about to become self-employed or are wondering if self-employment is for them. By the end of this practical workshop you will understand:
• What self-employment really means
• How to generate and assess business ideas
• The importance of preparing a business plan
• Next steps to take, to help you further assess your Self-Employment option
This workshop will also include a useful presentation from HMRC on how to register for self-employment, what expenses you can claim for when you work for yourself, tax and National Insurance and information on their free workshops.
